“ The hands are the instruments of man’s intelligence. ” - Maria Montessori

Our teams of experienced trades specialise in creating unique outdoor spaces for children. Utilising hand crafted techniques and landscaping expertise, they work collaboratively with a range of knowledgeable and skilled partners, meeting the requirements of playground regulations and safety.

We offer a range of flexible build options in which your project can progress from design to completion.

Construction and Project Management

• Engage us to build and project manage all elements of the construction.

• Engage us to implement a staged build. This allows for construction in ‘zones’ across the playground. Our team can work within your budget and timeline to carry out these staged building works.

Consultancy

• Using our design, engage another contractor and have us provide consultancy if required.

• Utilise trades, materials, equipment and volunteers from within your local community to construct our design. This may include conducting working bees to carry out the works which can be supported or facilitated by Urban Discovery if required.

Bowerbird Build

• The Bowerbird Build is a creative solution for services with smaller budgets.

Utilising available funds and community resources we can achieve immediate improvements in your playspaces through careful modifications and playful, nature based additions which enrich play and learning.
